The mission of the Portage Central Football Boosters, an independently funded, school-affiliated organization of parents, alumni and friends, is to support and enhance the football program through volunteer assistance and fund/friend-raising programs, while promoting the highest standards of spirit and sportsmanship. The Boosters also act as a liaison between the football teams, parents, school administration and general public. The Portage Central Football Boosters Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
Programs include:
- Post-Game Meals for players after every away game
- Pre-Game Pasta dinner for Varsity players
- Annual Kick-Off Picnic BBQ first Saturday of double sessions
- Training camp shirt and shorts
- Supplies for the team and trainer
- A Shoe Bank for those who are unable to afford athletic shoes
- Purchase equipment upon request from the coaching staff
- Coolers and ice bags for the treatment of on-field injuries
- Game day decorations for the fields
- Pizza on Monday after victories
- Senior Night, picture taken with his parents
- Year-End awards banquet
- Team-building activities for the Freshman and JV teams
- Supporting the Varsity team through high school play-offs
